Is this the same as other apps called Wayfind?
No. A few unrelated travel apps share the name Wayfind. This one, at getwayfind.com, is a free group trip planner: you set a minimum headcount for each activity, everyone RSVPs through one shared link, and the plan confirms itself when enough people commit. There is nothing to download, and it does not generate AI itineraries.
Does everyone need an account?
Anyone who acts on the trip (RSVPs, votes, posts) signs in with a quick email link, so answers stay real. Kids and grandparents can be added to their household by another member and never need their own accounts.
What happens if not enough people commit?
The activity simply does not fire, and nobody is stuck. Everyone can see the count, deadlines nudge the quiet ones, and if it falls short you know early instead of at the dock.
Can part of the group do their own thing?
