Before you start
Is Wayfind free?
Yes. Planning, RSVPs, schedules, polls, packing lists, and photo albums are free. No trial or payment card is required.
Does everyone need an account?
People who RSVP, vote, or post sign in. A household member can include children or other travelers in their response without each person having an account.
Who can see my trip?
Trips are shared with the people you invite. Reservations have their own visibility settings. See the privacy policy for details about your data.
Does Wayfind book or pay for activities?
No. A confirmed group plan means enough people have agreed to join. Make reservations and payments with the provider separately. Wayfind helps you keep the details together.
Can I start planning on my own?
Yes. Choose “Just me for now” when creating a trip. Add your plans and reservations, then invite people when you are ready.

How do bookings by email work?
Forward confirmations from your account email to plans@in.getwayfind.com, or use your trip’s private address. Check the imported details; unclear messages are kept for review.
What if an activity does not reach its minimum?
The activity remains below its target. You can see who has joined and decide what to do next. Provider reservations and cancellation terms are separate.
Can people make different plans?
Yes. People can join different activities or plan with a subgroup while keeping the shared trip schedule.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Open Wayfind in your phone or computer browser. On a phone you can add it to your home screen, and it opens like an app even with no signal.
I was invited to a trip. Where do I go?
Open the invitation link your organizer sent you. It will take you to that trip and guide you through joining.
Can I use Wayfind with other planning tools?
Yes. Keep links and reservation details from other tools in your trip. You can share Wayfind links in your group chat and add plans to your calendar.
What kinds of trips can I plan?
Family vacations, friends’ weekends, cruises, road trips, reunions, weddings, and team trips. You can also plan a trip just for yourself.
Is this the same as other apps called Wayfind?
This is Wayfind at getwayfind.com, a trip planner for families, friends, and groups. Other products may share the name.
